We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Software Engineering Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy and driving the success of our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

– Provide visionary leadership for the entire software engineering department.

– Contribute to the development of the overall organizational strategy.

 

Team Management:

– Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams.

– Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

 

Technical Vision and Roadmap:

– Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the software engineering department.

– Align technical decisions with long-term business goals.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

– Collaborate with other department heads, executives, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.

– Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.

 

Resource Allocation:

– Optimize resource allocation across projects and teams.

– Ensure that teams have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

 

Budget Management:

– Manage the budget for the software engineering department.

– Make strategic decisions to allocate resources effectively.

 

Talent Development:

– Oversee talent development and succession planning.

– Provide mentorship and guidance for leadership development within the engineering teams.

 

Quality Assurance:

– Implement and oversee quality assurance processes and standards.

– Ensure that software solutions meet high-quality standards.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

– Recommended qualification in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or other related Digital Engineering field.

– Minimum of 14 years of working experience in software development and delivery.

– Minimum of 6 years of management experience.

– Proven track record in leading software engineering teams and delivering digital products at scale.

– Expert understanding in the technology domains mentioned in the job spec.

– Experience in Cloud development, automation testing frameworks, and DevSecOps tools.

– Experience managing multicultural teams across different locations and time-zones.

– Knowledge and experience in implementing industry standard documentation for PCI, PDPA, GDPR, ISO compliance, or equivalents.

– Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

– Dedication to life-long learning and initiative to continuously improve business and technical skill sets.
