Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degrees like an MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant field can be advantageous, demonstrating a deeper understanding of business strategy, finance, and leadership.

Technical/Functional Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CEO or executive leadership role, preferably in technology, digital commercialization, or related industries.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and disruption.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

  • Track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and negotiate contracts.

Job Purpose:

Lead the strategic direction, growth, and overall operation of technology digital commercialization,this role will provide strategic leadership to drive successful transformation of solutions into marketable products and services. The CEO is accountable for achieving business goals and revenue generation, fostering innovation, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the company’s success.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Define and communicate the company’s vision, mission, and strategic direction. Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve growth and profitability goals.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the company’s workforce. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and promote professional growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains top talent. Build a high-performing team, delegate responsibilities effectively, and empower employees to achieve their best.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  1. Business Development and Growth:
  • Drive value creation by maximizing enterprise value, revenue & EBITDA potential from commercialization of solutions.
  • Identify emerging market trends & demand for solutions in domains/areas that are complementary to the Company’s core strength.
  • Analyze market pain points to shape techno-digital strategy and define “where-to-play” for higher commercialization success. Shape commercialization strategies and prioritization of customer segments.
  • Identify existing or new solutions with high potential for commercialization, matched with understanding of market demands and strategy. Lead strategic go-to-market decisions to increase market capture potential.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations. Steer go-to-market strategy including, but not limited to, driving partnerships and JVs, undertaking strategic scale M&A, and other inorganic options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  1. Thought Leadership:
  • Represent the company as its primary spokesperson to clients, partners, investors, and the media.
  • Establish the company as a thought leader through participation in industry events, speaking engagements, and publications.
  • Leverage networks to enhance the company’s reputation and drive business opportunities.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient execution of projects. Drive the formulation of operational processes and systems to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Set financial targets and monitor the company’s financial performance. Implement cost control measures and optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify and assess risks to the company’s operations, reputation, and financial performance with risk management strategies and contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Safeguard the company’s assets, intellectual property, and sensitive information.
  • Define & manage processes and governance measures for spin-off ventures resulting from commercial solutions that hit required scale.
